• NEWRuss caddies every hole — at each tee he previews the shot (hole number, par, doglegs, which side the water lives on), and calls the green when you walk onto it. No taps — pocket your phone and he rides along.
• NEWClub calls & My Bag — tap CLUB on Russ’s rail for a spoken club recommendation. Set your carry distances in Profile → My bag and he names your actual club: “About one fifty-five, out. I’d go 8 iron.”
• NEWRuss’s rail on the map — CLUB (a club call), SCORECARD (the live card), STANDINGS (a spoken read of where the round stands), and MUTE (silence him on your phone). The avatar lights up ON AIR whenever he talks.
• NEWRuss talks on pars and bogeys now, calls “no blood” on tied money holes, and tracks streaks with a graduated ladder — back-to-back, three straight, and still-going.

• NEWFriendly (no-wager) rounds. Start a round with no bet — tap Start Friendly Round on the game screen. Russ keeps the trash talk but says nothing about money, there’s no settle screen, and it’s tagged “Friendly” in History. See Getting Started.
• NEWThe Pot — a seventh game. Everyone antes, the lowest net takes the whole pot, ties split it. Winner-take-all. See Games & Bets.
• NEWFour-Ball — an eighth game. Classic 2-on-2 partners: only your team’s better ball counts on each hole, and the winning side splits the win. Needs a full foursome. See Games & Bets.
• NEWPick your starting nine. Set 9 or 18 holes and choose the front or back nine at round setup — for shotgun starts and back-nine tee times.
• NEWGPS follows your ball down the fairway toward the green, plus a movable pin — drag it to today’s flag for exact to-the-pin numbers. See GPS.

• CHANGEMore Russ variety — birdies and repeat blow-ups now escalate and pull from bigger pools, so he stops repeating himself when the group catches fire.

Fix

• FIXThe turn report lands on hole 10 no matter which screen you finish the front nine on, and it won’t re-fire late if you backfill a skipped hole.
• FIX“Fill in missing scores” drops you onto the GPS map at the empty hole, and finishing a no-wager round goes straight to the recap.

• NEWColor-coded pin flags on the GPS green — red = front, white = middle, blue = back. Your three yardages at a glance, no letters to decode.
• NEWInstant yardage — the GPS view now opens with your distance already on screen instead of waiting for a fresh GPS fix.
