1. What the subscription includes

One subscription covers everything FOREPAID does today:

There aren't tiers or paywalled extras. Whichever plan you pick unlocks the whole app — the only difference is how you pay.

2. Pricing

FOREPAID subscription screen — feature list with Monthly $9.99 and Founder $39.99 first-year pricing
Everything for one price — Monthly $9.99, or the Founder annual rate.

Three ways to pay. Same product, same features, no hidden upsells.

Monthly
$9.99
per month, auto-renews

Pay-as-you-go. Best for seasonal play — start in spring, cancel when the snow flies.

Standard Annual
$59.99
per year, auto-renews · saves 50% vs monthly

The regular annual rate. Twelve months for the cost of six on the Monthly plan. Renews on the anniversary of your subscription start.

Founder Annual
$39.99
first year only · capped at the first 500 subscribers

A discounted introductory rate for the first 500 paying subscribers. Year-one only — renews at the Standard Annual rate after that. See Founder rate for the details.

All prices are in USD. Apple may convert to your local currency at the time of purchase.

3. First round free

Every new FOREPAID player gets their first round end-to-end on us — full scoring, full Russ commentary, the GPS, the live wager engine, and the Settle screen at the end. You don't pick a plan or enter a payment method until after the round is over.

If a friend invited you and you're playing in their round, that's the round you play free. If you downloaded the app on your own, you pick a course, start a round, and play it free. Either way, the paywall appears on the final recap screen, not on the way in.

It's a real round, not a demo. Money you win or lose in your first round is real money you settle with your friends. FOREPAID never holds funds — see Settling up for how that works.

4. Founder rate

The Founder rate is an introductory annual offer for the first 500 paying subscribers. If you subscribe before the count hits 500, you pay $39.99 for your first year. After year one, your subscription auto-renews at the Standard annual rate ($59.99/yr).

You can see the live cap counter ("#312 of 500 Founders claimed") on the in-app paywall. If the cap has already been hit, the offer disappears from the paywall — at that point the Founder tier is closed and new annual signups go straight to Standard.

The Founder rate honors a single annual cycle. Apple's introductory-offer rules limit it to one year. After year one, you renew at the Standard rate — but the value of the first year is yours regardless of whether you keep going.

Once you're a Founder, you keep the Founder badge on your profile for as long as your subscription stays active. It's a status marker for the launch cohort, not just a one-time discount.

5. Refer-a-Friend

Every FOREPAID subscriber gets a personal referral code. When a friend signs up with your code and completes their first paid month, both of you get an extra free month added to your subscription.

How it works:

  1. Open Profile → tap Invite Friends.
  2. Share your code or the link via Messages, email, or any share-sheet target. The link looks like forepaid.app/refer/ABC123.
  3. Your friend installs the app, signs up with your code, and subscribes (any plan).
  4. After they pay for their first month and the standard refund window has passed, you both get a notification — the extra month is added to your renewal date automatically.

There's no cap on how many friends you can refer. Each successful referral = one extra free month for both sides.

The free month redeems via Apple. When the reward unlocks, you'll see a banner in your Profile screen with a Redeem button. Tap it to apply the free month to your next renewal. The redemption goes through the Apple App Store — same as any subscription change.

6. How to subscribe

  1. Open FOREPAID on your iPhone.
  2. Finish a round (or open Profile → tap the Subscription row).
  3. Pick a plan — Monthly, Standard Annual, or Founder Annual (if the cap hasn't been hit).
  4. Tap Subscribe. The Apple App Store purchase sheet appears.
  5. Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.

The charge appears on your Apple ID payment method (the same one you use for App Store purchases). Apple emails you a receipt.

7. Managing or cancelling

All subscription management goes through Apple, not FOREPAID. From iOS:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone (the system Settings app).
  2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
  3. Tap FOREPAID.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription to stop auto-renewal.

Cancelling stops the auto-renewal at the end of your current billing period. You keep access until that date — so if you cancel three months into a year, you still get the remaining nine months.

Refunds go through Apple. FOREPAID can't issue refunds directly. Request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com within Apple's refund window.

8. Restoring purchases

If you reinstalled the app, switched iPhones, or your subscription isn't showing as active, use Restore:

  1. Open Profile → tap the Subscription row.
  2. Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Apple checks your Apple ID for an active FOREPAID subscription and reactivates it in the app.

Restore only works if you're signed into the same Apple ID that bought the subscription. If you bought on one Apple ID and signed into the app on another, the two won't link.

9. Deleting your account

Account deletion removes your profile, your rounds, your scores, your handicap, your payment handles, and your subscription record from FOREPAID's servers.

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. The deletion is permanent and runs immediately.
Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your FOREPAID account doesn't cancel the App Store subscription — that's an Apple-side record. Cancel it in iOS Settings → Subscriptions before deleting your account, or you'll keep getting charged.
